Investing your time is likely the most effective way you can help change the way Methamphetamine use is affecting our communities.  The drug appears in all social classes and economic levels, and its going to take people from every neighborhood to make a difference.

You can take an active role on the Substance Abuse Steering Committee, which reviews, refines and implements plans for combatting substance about problems in Yuba-Sutter.

Meetings are the fourth Thursday of each month, 3 p.m., at

Yuba City

Spend time educating people about Meth through PUMPEd!, Preventing the Use of Methamphetamine Permanently through Education a sub group of the Substance Abuse Steering Coalition.

Spend time mentoring kids or otherwise helping out at Friday Night Live.

Help out at StopMeth.Info activities or donate cash or in-kind services.
